Limited Warranty 

1. Scope of Warranty

The supplier provides a limited warranty strictly in accordance with the warranty terms issued by each material’s original manufacturer. Warranty coverage, duration, limitations, and claim procedures are determined exclusively by the respective manufacturer.

If a product‑specific warranty document is not available on the supplier’s website, the customer may request a copy via email. The warranty period for all products begins on the date of purchase, irrespective of installation date or date of use.

No additional warranties, express or implied, are provided by the supplier beyond those granted by the material manufacturers.

2. Limitation of Warranty – Installation Requirements

This limited warranty applies only to the product itself. The supplier does not provide warranty coverage for any defects, failures, or damages arising from:

  • incorrect or improper installation,

  • installation performed contrary to the manufacturer’s official instructions,

  • installation performed without seeking clarification when instructions were unclear or unavailable.

All installation instructions are published on the supplier’s website. If instructions cannot be located or are not understood, the customer bears the responsibility to request clarification prior to installation.

3. Customer’s Burden of Proof

To qualify for warranty consideration, the customer must demonstrate that installation was performed strictly in accordance with the official installation instructions.

Acceptable evidence includes:

  • detailed written documentation of the installation process, and

  • clear photographic evidence showing each relevant installation step.

If the customer cannot provide such documentation, the supplier may, at its discretion, conduct an on‑site inspection.

Inspection Fees (Applicable Only if Installation Is Faulty)

If an inspection is required due to missing documentation, the following fees apply only if the installation is found to be incorrect:

  • Finland: 600 € (VAT 0%)

  • Baltic countries (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania): 1,200 € (VAT 0%)

  • Other EU countries: 2,500 € (VAT 0%)

In addition, an hourly inspection fee of 75 € (VAT 0%) applies in all regions.

If the installation is confirmed to be correct, no fees will be charged.

4. Warranty Void Conditions

All warranties shall be deemed null and void if the product has been:

  • tampered with,

  • modified without authorization,

  • handled contrary to manufacturer or supplier guidelines, or

  • stored in unsuitable or damaging conditions.

5. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

This warranty, and any disputes arising from or relating to the product, installation, or interpretation of this warranty, shall be governed exclusively by Finnish law, irrespective of the customer’s country of residence or the location of use.

Any disputes, claims, or legal proceedings shall be resolved:

  • primarily through the Finnish Justitieombudsman, and

  • if necessary, through the competent courts located in Vaasa, Finland.

This jurisdiction and governing law clause applies equally to domestic and international sales.
